Today our photographer was sent out to shoot a group still for the Luminaires Band.
As usual, makeup by our lovely Sammm and photographed by Ajay.
Over 100 students portraits were taken for the Made In Brunel Thinking Out Loud book and graduation show. Nodachi photographed the students in two creative poses, one for the book and show and one to show of the students personality and wild side. All students involved were creatives in either design, engineering or product design, so this made for some very interesting subjects. Check out the Nodachi Photography gallery and look under Brunel for a selection of some of the more fun portraits we came up with.

Nodachi has been hired to produce all the stills photography for the online alternate reality game SmokeScreen.
The SmokeScreen game is a project commissioned by Channel 4 Education to educate a 14-16 year old audience about the issues surrounding online identity and privacy.
It is presented as a series of 13 individual game “missions” (a.k.a episodes) connected by one over-arching story arc.
The games layout or interface will be a facebook style set of profiles. Nodachi’s job is to create the false lives of all the games characters. This means shooting various locations, events, interactions to create a sense of reality and purpose for the actors playing the roles of the characters.
During the month long project. Nodachi produced over 300 photos in over 30 locations and sets, including recreating Glastonbury music festival and a hospital room.
Jack Said – the move based on the graphic novels depicting British gangsters and ultra violence has performed well in its debut release. Now available at Virgin megastores. Creator Simon Philips, has written a prequel and wants to create another graphic novel and eventually turn it into another movie; “Jack Says” For the novel, he anticipates a strong Japanese following “We feel that there is great potential in the Japanese manga market for a graphic novel that tells the back story to “Jack Said”. If we were to translate the whole novel then we could do a limited edition release to gauge its popularity” Producer / Writer Simon Philips came to Nodachi to perform all the redesigning of the DVD and novel cover, and to handle translation and re-versioning for the Japanese market.
After the job was complete, Simon was convinced that the graphic novel looked as good on the shelves in Japan as any of its competitors. “I highly recommend Nodachi for their project management skill”
