This month, we shot the flagship one minute commercial for Lebara’s new Money Transfer product: Lebara Money.
The commercial is aimed at the African Corridor and advertises this unique and innovative product by means of a situational story. The commercial was shot in London with our DOP Allen Della-Valle and directors Simon & Greg Mills.
The commercial was shot over two days, day one was in a restaurant made up to look like it was in Nigeria, and day two in a swanky London flat. The restaurant location was shot through netted primes to give a soft romantic effect and to give the “Nigerian” location a different feel to the “UK” location.
Lebara Mobile are donating €1,000,000 to educate 100,000 children in 10 countries!
Nodachi shot a commercial and recorded a radio ad to support Lebara on their mission. Probably the fastest turnaround we’ve had for a commercial, 5 days to produce and shoot with a cast of 30 children. The commercial uses elements shot in the UK, India and Ghana to make 40 seconds. We shot last Friday with the help of Kids-City who were instrumental in helping to organise the children we needed especially since its the holidays. Stay tuned for the new radio ad and TV.
We’ve just finished shooting two new commercials for Lebara Mobile’s new cricket tickets offer. The brief was to create two ads to serve the asian community, and spread the word that lebara are offering its customers the chance to win tickets to Cricket matches this season.
We shot on RED-MX in two locations and had a cast of 9. The ads were produced in 2 weeks and shot back to back one each day. Offlined in Final Cut Pro and graded on Quantel EQ. The commercial is being broadcast on a variety of ethnic channels on cable and satellite.
At this years Mobile News Awards, Lebara Mobile came out on top winning best customer services and Best Mobile Virtual Network Operator of the year. To help them win their title, Nodachi created two submission films which were entered along with their statements. The two Lebara submissions were recognised and highlighted by the judges as having “Commendable audio and video materials” Lebara’s heads of marketing and of customer services were both delighted with the work and the result.
The films are now used to introduce new recruits to the company ethos, and are being used internally as motivational pieces.
The two films were executed in 5 days, this included scripting, shooting and editing with graphics. They were shot on Sony EX3 cameras by our in-house DOP.
This years Mobo Awards are sponsored by Lebara Mobile! Lebara ran a facebook competition where mambers of the public were encouraged to upload a video of themselves giving good reason why they should be a 20010 Mobo Awards VIP. They top 5 contestants would be given tickets to the award, and the winner would win a VIP ticket and hotel stay in Liverpool.
Nodachi came in to create the on screen graphics that would play on the night at the awards to showcase the top 5 entrants to the competition and allow the winner to be introduced.
As always turn around was crucial, the awards were on Wednesday Night and the winner and top 5 were chosen on Monday.
Here we are again, this time working on Lebara’s new Pay Monthly Scheme. Recently Lebara has rebranded and as a result all of our previous commercials are being re-versioned to match the new branding guidelines.
To help introduce the new pay monthly contract scheme, which is a big deal for any mobile telecoms provider, Nodachi has developed some simple 10 second motion graphics adverts to play on sky channels while we develop the new Lebara live action commercial.
