NODACHI GOES TO CERN

“It’s an exciting time for physics” says Professor Akram Khan of Brunel University. After being awarded a grant to go all over the world and investigate the progress of leading research in Particle Physics, Akram came to Nodachi to document his findings in the form of video journals, interviews and a documentary website. Nodachi is calling the Project The Journey to Cern. So far, we have visited Daresbury Science and Innovation Centre where we interviewed many of the scientists who run the facility and who research there. We came across the A.L.I.C.E experiment, a mini particle accelerator much like the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The work being done by the STFC and the people at the Daresbury Laboratory will surely influence us in the coming years.

Nodachi is very proud to be following the journey of particle physics home to CERN.
