SMOKESCREEN GAME PHOTOGRAPHY

Nodachi has been hired to produce all the stills photography for the online alternate reality game SmokeScreen.

The SmokeScreen game is a project commissioned by Channel 4 Education to educate a 14-16 year old audience about the issues surrounding online identity and privacy.

It is presented as a series of 13 individual game “missions” (a.k.a episodes) connected by one over-arching story arc.

The games layout or interface will be a facebook style set of profiles. Nodachi’s job is to create the false lives of all the games characters. This means shooting various locations, events, interactions to create a sense of reality and purpose for the actors playing the roles of the characters.

During the month long project. Nodachi produced over 300 photos in over 30 locations and sets, including recreating Glastonbury music festival and a hospital room.
