Thats right, ever since Canon announced its new 5DMKIII We have been anticipating its arrival. The new MKIII finally fixed a host of problems that the MKII was lacking in. The camera no longer uses line skipping to downsize its video to HD resolution, so the aliasing issues the MKII had are history! We are also seeing a better performing Moire pattern filter so this camera is a little more “video friendly”..This new model captures 1080p Full HD video at 24p (23.976), 25p, and 30p (29.97) fps; 720p HD recording at 60 (59.94) and 50 fps; and SD recording at 30 (29.97) and 25 fps, giving cinematographers and videographers more flexibility and options for video capture. Finally the camera also has built in timecode, the ability to record video for up to 30 mins per card and a headphone jack for monitoring.

LSE SU India Week is a series of events that aim to celebrate the various successes of India and discuss areas for improvement by looking through the eyes of Indian students studying at LSE and other institutions around the world. This month, we shot the flagship one minute commercial for Lebara’s new Money Transfer product: Lebara Money.

The commercial is aimed at the African Corridor and advertises this unique and innovative product by means of a situational story. The commercial was shot in London with our DOP Allen Della-Valle and directors Simon & Greg Mills.

The commercial was shot over two days, day one was in a restaurant made up to look like it was in Nigeria, and day two in a swanky London flat. The restaurant location was shot through netted primes to give a soft romantic effect and to give the “Nigerian” location a different feel to the “UK” location.

Lebara Mobile are donating €1,000,000 to educate 100,000 children in 10 countries!

Nodachi shot a commercial and recorded a radio ad to support Lebara on their mission. Probably the fastest turnaround we’ve had for a commercial, 5 days to produce and shoot with a cast of 30 children. The commercial uses elements shot in the UK, India and Ghana to make 40 seconds. We shot last Friday with the help of Kids-City who were instrumental in helping to organise the children we needed especially since its the holidays. Stay tuned for the new radio ad and TV.
